Global Sofaer MBA at Tel Aviv University
 
The Global Sofaer MBA program at Tel Aviv University is offered to international students and is conducted entirely in English. This MBA program, which operates at TAU’s Coller School of Management, focuses on new venture creation, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The program is rooted in the Israeli start-up ecosystem, this allows students to design and develop their own start-ups, explore various career opportunities, and broaden their business networks in the “start-up nation”.
 
Study program
 
This international MBA program is suitable for those with the experience and interest in leading transformation in an entrepreneurial context. It comprises five modules:
 
- The first two modules include core business courses in finance, statistics, microeconomics, and more subjects.
 
- Modules three and four focus on innovation and entrepreneurship and include courses on leadership, creativity in management, and more.
 
- In module five, students can expand their managerial horizons and participate in master classes, Dean courses and an entrepreneurial process.
 
This graduate program puts an emphasis on experiential learning. It includes various workshops and hands-on classes that bring together practice and theory, along with guided opportunities to develop start-ups in various sectors such as fintech, wearables, agtech, and more.
 
In addition, students can participate in the Delta Pre-Accelerator, which offers venture founders an opportunity to prototype the early stages of their ventures in a supportive environment via mentoring, pitch simulators, and more.
 
 

 

Structure and duration
 
This is a full time MBA program which spans one year.

Admissions
 
Admission requirements include:
 
- An undergraduate degree (B.A. or B.Sc.) with a GPA of 3.0 and above.
- Diploma and official transcript.
- GMAT or GRE score.
- Two letters of recommendation from academic or professional sources.
- CV (resume).
- Several short personal essays.
- Admissions interview.
- English proficiency exam (for candidates from non-English speaking countries).

 

Academic diploma
 
Graduates of the Sofaer program are awarded an MBA degree (Master of Business Administration) from Tel Aviv University.
