Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) offers a Government M.A. program in which students can gain hands on experience in public diplomacy, international security, conflict resolution, counter terrorism and more. 
 
 
Study Program
 

The program allows students to gain knowledge and skills needed for becoming tomorrow’s leaders, shaping society, and solving local and global conflicts.

 

Students take part in many practical courses and workshops and gain hands-on experience. The program encourages networking with students from around the world and includes meetings with policymakers and leaders. The workshops focus on much-needed skills such as negotiation, decision making peace building and public speaking.

 

In addition, students can take part in internships in research institutions at the university: the institute for counter terrorism and the institute for policy and strategy. They may also intern at Israeli NGOs and government ministries.

 

The school offers internships in research programs such as applied decision analysis, political psychology, and government reform.

 

Specialization


Students can select a specialization from the following:


- Diplomacy and conflict studies
- Homeland security and counter-terrorism
- Public policy and political marketing (studied in Hebrew)
- Research track - with thesis

Faculty
 
Faculty in the government Masters program includes renowned researchers in the field of government and politics, as well as key figures in the political field in Israel. Their research interests include international relations, democracy, public policy, social movements, Cyber terrorism and more.
 
Admissions
 
Candidates must submit transcripts of previous academic studies including their final GPA. In addition, applicants must hand in two letters of recommendation, a resume (CV) and a personal statement. Candidates who are not native English speakers need to take an English proficiency test such as IELTS or Amiram.
 
Academic Diploma
 
Graduates receive an M.A. in Government.
