Entrepreneurship and computer science double major at Reichman University (IDC Herzliya)

 

International students can take part in Reichman University (IDC Herzliya)'s double major in entrepreneurship (B.A.) and computer science (B.Sc.). in this program, students gain practical skills needed for building innovative technological product prototypes and designing business plans, with the help and guidance of leading mentors from the start-up community in Israel.

 

This program prepares students towards careers in software development, hi-tech, business entrepreneurship and more. They can fill many interesting and sought-after roles in leading companies both in Israel and abroad. In addition, they can continue to graduate and doctoral degrees in both fields.

 

 

Students in the double major program in entrepreneurship and computer science studies gain knowledge and skills necessary for dealing with technical and analytical challenges in tomorrow’s high-tech and start-up arenas. They understand aspects in starting new projects and businesses, in teamwork and innovative organizational environments, and other relevant issues.

 

The program includes theoretical study alongside practical experience in developing an initiative. Students experience the different stages in the entrepreneurial process and learn about raising ideas according to opportunities in the global field, defining and obtaining required resources, developing and implementing business models and operating projects to the point of exit.

 

The curriculum addresses current developments in the field of computer science and discuss how technological developments reshape work patterns and life.

The program is designed to be completed in 3 years (6 semesters). It includes theoretical and practical courses, workshops and seminars.

 

One of the central points of this program is a capstone project in which students establish group initiatives and implement them.

- 2 letters of recommendation

- Personal essay

- Excellent command of English - non-English speaking high-school graduates are required to submit proficiency test scores.

- In some cases - standardized tests (SAT, Psychometric) are also required

 

 

Upon completing this double major program students receive a B.A degree in entrepreneurship and a B.Sc. degree in computer science.
