B.A. in Psychology at Reichman University (IDC Herzliya)
 
Reichman University (IDC Herzliya)'s Psychology program Provides students with knowledge and practical tools needed to fulfill professional aspirations and help promote wellbeing in the society.
 
Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) is one of the few academic institutions in Israel to offer a complete undergraduate program in Psychology, entirely in English. The Raphael Recanati International School is the largest in Israel, with over 2,000 students from 90 countries.
 
Study Program
 
The school provides students with knowledge and skills necessary for caring for the wellbeing of individuals and the society. These skills can also assist them in continuing to advanced degree studies in this field.
 
The International Psychology B.A. program will introduce students to the main areas of the field – developmental, social, cognitive etc. They learn about new fields in psychology and study topics in positive psychology and the psychology of business, politics and the internet.
 

This program puts emphasis on psychology as both a profession and a science and allows students to conduct research in high tech laboratories.

 

Those interested in continuing to advanced degrees may take part in intensive methodological studies and research experience.

 
Study Structure
 
The undergraduate Psychology program is designed to be completed in three years (six semesters). During their studies, students take part in mandatory and elective courses as well as seminars, workshops, and independent research.

Admissions
 

candidates must submit their high school diploma, 2 letters of recommendation and a personal essay. Applicants from the US need also to submit their SAT scores, while Israeli applicants must submit their Psychometric test scores.

 

All candidates must have excellent command of English as the program is taught entirely in English. In case candidates did not complete their high school studies in English speaking countries, they are required to pass a standardized English test such as IELTS or TOEFL.
 

Academic Degree
 
Graduates will receive a B.A. in Psychology.

This degree is recognized for admission to graduate degree programs in Israel, the US, and other countries. Coursework prepares students toward GRE exams, necessary to those who wish to continue their studies in Israel or USA.
