International B.A. in Government, Diplomacy and Strategy at Reichman University (IDC Herzliya)
  

Students from around the globe can take part in the international undergraduate degree (BA) in Government, Diplomacy and Strategy at Reichman University (IDC Herzliya)’s Raphael Recanati International School. In this program they can earn a unique opportunity to study in Israel about Israeli and international policies and foreign affairs.

 

The program focuses on subjects such as public policy, foreign policy diplomacy and strategy. The school is characterized by a pluralistic environment where students from different countries can share ideas and views and take part in networking. Alumni have developed careers in the public and private sectors, in international institutions and NGOs.
 

Study Program
 
The government B.A. program focuses on both political theory and practice. Its aim is preparing students to dealing with future challenges in the public field and equipping them with skills needed by leaders.
 
Students gain a wide perspective in global and domestic politics and study about different issues regarding individuals, governments, and the challenges they face today. They can explore the way political behaviour is affected by economic, psychological, cultural, and technological developments. In addition, they focus on current events in the Middle East in the age of globalization. The program deals with various aspects of Israeli politics such as foreign policy, democracy, religion, security and more.
 
Study Structure
 
The duration of this international B.A. program is three years, it is taught entirely in English. Students participate in various mandatory and elective courses, seminars, workshops and meetings with public figures and researchers.
 

Clusters

During their final year, students can choose to specialize in topics of their choice and earn a cluster certificate. They may also choose a minor area of study.

During your studies in the Government, Diplomacy and Strategy you will meet and learn from leading researchers as well as past politicians and diplomats. The faculty comprises of renowned academics and experience practitioners in the fields of diplomacy, international relations, security and more. 
 
Admission
 
All applicants need to submit their high school diploma. Those who did not complete their high school studies in English speaking countries must take an English proficiency test. Candidates from Israel and the US must also submit their scores in standardized tests (SAT or Psychometric). Additionally, all candidates must write a personal essay (200 - 500 words) and submit a resume (CV) and letters of recommendation from academic and professional relevant sources. 
 
Academic Diploma
 
Graduates of the program will receive a B.A. in Government, Diplomacy and Strategy, as well as the relevant cluster certificates (according to the chosen clusters).
