This program is suitable for students interested in establishing innovative startups and organizational initiatives. During their studies, students gain practical skills for building prototypes for technological products and designing business plans.

 

The program rationale is based on the different stages in entrepreneurial processes, including identifying opportunities, raising ideas, defining resources and obtaining them, developing business models for the project and expanding the initiative until the point of operation or exit. Students get to know these stages and implement them personally while practicing developing their own initiatives.

This double major program spans 3 years and includes 6 semesters. Studies take place several days a week. Students take part in core and elective courses, as well as seminars and workshops. One of the main aspects of this program is a practical experience in which students establish initiatives in small groups and get to know the entrepreneurship process firsthand.

Faculty is comprised of experienced researchers and lecturers in various fields of business, technological innovation, and social entrepreneurship, as well as experts from the industry such as investors and entrepreneurs.

 

 

In order to apply, candidates must comply with the following:

 

- Submit high school grades and transcript

- Submit CV (resume)

- Submit 2 letters of recommendation regarding personal academic and professional skills and experience

- Write a personal essay (250 - 500 words) concerning their rational for joining this program

- Have an excellent command of English - graduates from non-English speaking high-schools must pass a proficiency test (IETLS, TOEFL, Amiram, etc.)

- In some cases, standardized tests such as SAT or Psychometric are also required

 

 

Upon completing the program students receive a B.A. in entrepreneurship and business.

 

 

At the Recanati International School, students an find another double major track in entrepreneurship, combined with computer science studies.

 

Other double major options include business and economics, and government and sustainability. Students can also study several single-major tracks in English, such as communications, computer science, psychology or business administration.
