At Ben Gurion University, students from around the globe can study at the international MBA program. This international track allows students to earn a master's degree in business management within one year and take part in practical work internship experience. The program is aimed at both International and Israeli students from a variety of professional and academic backgrounds and allows them to gain important management skills, with a special emphasis on innovation.

This unique program takes place at the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management (GGFBM). The faculty aims at promoting tomorrow's business leaders and prepares its students towards the challenges of today's markets. It encourages the development of innovative management skills and advanced knowledge and reasoning that are important to managers worldwide. Ben Gurion University is home to interdisciplinary international research and innovation and is located in Israel's cyber capital.

Study program

Students in this international master's program learn about a variety of aspects in the global business field, with a specific emphasis on innovation in today's markets. They discuss various topics in management, economics, strategy and organizational behaviour that assist them in focusing on efficient management techniques and strategies they can implement in their firms and businesses.

In addition, the program assists the students in developing practical entrepreneurship skills. During their studies, they discuss ways in which managers can promote innovation in their organizations in order to encourage growth and excellence. They also learn about Social entrepreneurship and different facets of sustainability in today's dynamic business world.

Structure and duration

The program allows students to complete their studies within one year. This international program is taught entirely in English; classes are held twice a week. It is built of a core module of courses in different disciplines of business such as organizational behaviour, marketing, accounting, finance, operations management and business strategy. In addition, it contains advanced training in these disciplines as well as further enhancement through workshops, which allow students to get hands on experience in management skills.

The program also includes a work internship experience. Internships are available in several topics, students can choose between innovation and entrepreneurship, or social enterprise and sustainability.

Admission requirements

In order to apply to this program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution. When relevant, a grade in exams such as GMAT, GRE or an English proficiency test such as TOEFL must be presented. Candidates must also hold appropriate professional experience in management and entrepreneurship.

Students that successfully complete their studies receive an MBA master's degree from Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
